  • Wizard World Chicago 2008

I, Eric Adams, will be unloading my LACKLUSTER WORLD comics at Wizard World Chicago this Thursday-Sunday, June 26-29.
The newest issue, LACKLUSTER WORLD #5, still has that spring fresh buzz attached to it and it’s easily my best work. For everyone keeping up with the characters/story, you’ll never guess what’s inside.
I’ll be doing sketches all weekend too, [...]

  • Pittsburgh Comicon 2008 Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Con

This was two weeks ago, but better late than never…
My experience at this year’s Pittsburgh Comicon, my fourth in a row, is in the minority it seems because it was a smashing success.
Okay, maybe not smashing but I felt like using an adjective and smashing sounded… smashing.  Anyway, I made a killing. And that killing [...]

    And then…

  • REVIEW: Silver Bullet Comics on LACKLUSTER WORLD

I met the delightful Stephanie Mangold of Silver Bullet Comics at Heroes Con a few weeks ago and she has written an equally delightful review of LACKLUSTER WORLD, dishing out a 5 out of 5.
    You may read it here:

Afterwards, you may also experience more of her hot smoking writing skills through her column Hey, Supergirl [...]

  • Chris Arrant’s FOUR STORIES

I’m far behind on posting and actually have quite a lot to post about. I’ll try to catch up today and tomorrow.

    First and foremost:
My bud, Chris Arrant, will be at the mega-enormous SAN DIEGO COMIC CON this week with copies of his freshly printed anthology book FOUR STORIES. Each self-contained story within is [...]

  • PLUG: March of the Bonus Army

My uncle Bob has a new documentary airing Monday, May 29 at 10:30 on PBS. (check local listings)

It’s called The March of Bonus Army.
In the past he’s done Tesla: Master of Lightning and Korean War Stories for which he won the 2002 Emmy for Outstanding Historical Documentary.

  • More Comics and Timing

Joanna Estep’s previously mentioned 3-part series on the Comics and Timing, aptly named Timing, finished it’s run on Newsrama.com last week.
Somehow, my name and wisdom found it’s way into the opening text of the second installment. Joanna clearly knows what people want.

  • Comics and Timing

Joanna Estep has written an interesting article about the timing of comics. I’ve read the entire thing and it’s quite insightful for any of you would-be creators. The first of three parts went online today at Newsarama.com.
