I can totally sympathize with the reason for cancelling the first show, but you'd think there would be some back up plan put into place, especially for the second show seeing as how one show has already been cancelled. I would just like to see better planning on the organizer's part in the future. You can keep planning shows and then cancelling them at the last minute. That really ruins your reputation. And to be fair, I don't think any convention is "simple" to organize. I'll admit that their is some poor organization on part of the show organizers, but I happen to be friends with them and know they have some pretty good reasons for the cancellation. The first one was cancelled because the organizers wife got cancer. This second one was cancelled because of financial issues. They could have pushed forward with this show, but it would have turned out crap because they just don't have the funds to promote it effectively at this time. Times are tough so don't give them too hard of a time. They feel bad enough as it is for having to cancel it. No, they’ve never pulled one off.
